Deer Jerkey

Does anyone have any that I can purchase? There are some guys in Iraq that are requesting some if I can find it.

Haven't been to Kohl's (next to the bridge) in Quincy in about a year, but they had Deer, and Elk jerky last time I was there.
You might call the processing place on lindell ave, and ask them.

I will buy whatever I can get. I have at least 3 soldiers that have requested it but.......can I ship it to Iraq? I know i can ship the prepacked jerky you buy at the store, but is it legal to ship deer jerkey? They would love it if I could get it there. Asked for it last week and said I would try and find some. But let me check with the Locker here in Center first and see if I can send it there. Then I will PM you! And thanks!

Was told no. It has to pass inspection before I can ship it. Thanks anyway!

Have you searched for it online? There would probably be some packaged, already inspected and have the preservatives you'd need for it to take the time to make the trip. Worth a try.

You can purchase it at Cabellas or Bass Pro. It might not be the same as the good old homemade stuff they remember but maybe their buddies can have some ready for them when they finally get to come home. My kids remember Kyle F. and Chris K. making it and bringing it to Mark Twain to share with all their friends after deer season every year.
