Does anyone know if WIC is still available if both the mother and father are unemployed? The baby is not born yet.

Yes WIC is still available...the pregnant mother is also eligible for it. Just contact the health department in the county you live in. They have just done some updating in what foods you can get.

Yes, I know a married couple in Marion County who are expecting their first child this winter and they are on WIC. The father is employed but they still qualified. The food items will change after the baby is born. Please go to the health dept. and see if you qualify. It is very important to have pre natal nutrition.
